The 2010 season was a nail biter with a late start (remember Juneuary?), short summer and wet fall. Call it intuition or just plain stubbornness; I opted to let the fruit hang till the very last minute. The result, harvested on the 5th of November - a dramatic, powerful, opulent Riesling! On the nose, an intriguing aroma of lime, grapefruit and apple crisp with vanilla frosting - and the palate, full bodied, rich, viscous and decidedly complex with piquant lime, crisp green apple and citrus flavors. Sporting bright acidity, 1% residual sugar and an incredibly long finish, this Riesling has great complexity and aging potential. Do yourself a favor, pair this one with any spicy Thai, Indian or Latin cuisine, it can stand up to virtually anything serve chilled but not iced.

Shipping Policy

Terra Vina Vineyard highly recommends that all customers who are ordering wine during hot or cold weather, Mid-West and East Coast, should consider upgrading to Next Day, 2-Day, or 3-Day shipping in order to prevent wine from being damaged by low/high temperatures.

Cold weather - the water contained in wine can and will separate from the alcohol and freeze, causing the cork to release and, in some cases, the bottle to break.
Hot weather - increased pressure in the bottle may cause a similar effect like the cold weather does.
Hot and/or cold temperatures can sometimes cause the wine to spoil.

Terra Vina Vineyard is not responsible for any wine damaged in shipping. If you would like further protection, optional insurance can be purchased through the shipping carrier. Please tell us in an email if you would like this optional insurance.

If you prefer, Terra Vina Vineyard will hold your wine until conditions are safe enough to ship by ground. Send all customer requests via email.
