2023 Grenache

Rattlesnake Hills - Columbia Valley

My love affair with Grenache continues, each vintage offering something unique, each more compelling than the last. In 2023, we introduced 25% whole-cluster fermentation to our winemaking repertoire, and oh baby did she respond! One swirl and you know you’re in for something special.

The nose opens with sultry black cherry and baked plum, layered with wild strawberry, and a delicate wisp of charred embers. On the palate, the wine doesn’t simply arrive, it bursts forward with a vibrant core of fruit that coats the senses with effortless grace. Juicy red and black berries mingle with pomegranate, while an ethereal, silky texture makes it nearly impossible to stop sipping. The finish lingers with polished tannins and a subtle exotic edge that refuses to let go.

Mouthwatering layers of blackberry pie, dark chocolate, spice cake, and balsamic reduction glide across the palate with a simmering intensity.

2024 Mourvèdre Rosé

Horse Heaven Hills - Andrews

After tasting a marvelous Mourvèdre Rose while visiting Provence’ in June 24, of course, I needed to scurry back and create one right quick. This wine, grapes harvested from Coyote Canyon, is IMHO a stunner, 100% Mourvèdre from, dare I say, one of the most  spectacular vintages in recent memory.

Creamy and sensuous, this cutie overwhelms your palate with watermelon, kissed by late season strawberries, with a wee bit of crushed pomegranate in attendance. Impossibly rich, layered and textured, this is OMG, the perfect summer Rose’ but please, please, do not serve this cold!!! Remove from fridge min. 30 minutes before pouring. Served at sixty degrees - way beyond heavenly! We only made 99 cases, caution, do not let this one pass you by!!!
