The Family

Terra Vina Wines is a small, multi generation family owned vineyard and tasting room located in the northern Willamette Valley AVA in Oregon. What started as a passion project of Karl to create the big bold red wines he preferred in Pinot Noir country, quickly grew in popularity among the many others who not only loved big reds but the people behind them. A visit to Terra Vina invites you into the family. Today, daughter Roxanne has taken over operations and will likely be the first person to greet you upon arriving. Her husband Drew is an outstanding chef from the East Coast, creating incredible dishes out of his onsite Food Truck to compliment the complex flavors of the unique wines we create. Karl still masterfully crafts the wines and loves to guide guests through the stories and inspiration behind each and every one. With Roxanne at the helm, matriarch Carole finally gets to take a step back from operations and concentrate on her love of traveling and gardening. When not away on one of her perfectly curated small group trips to some of the most memorable regions of the world, you can find her in the garden masterfully grooming the estate grounds, exploding with gorgeous flowers all season long.

The Land

On our Estate Vineyard, we farm nearly 17 acres of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc. Additionally, we source world class wine grapes from both Eastern Washington & Oregon allowing us to offer ultra-premium wines across the spectrum. Our first release of the 2004 vintage established our reputation as a premium producer of "Big Reds". After being receiving accolades for numerous outstanding wines over many successive vintages, our passion for crafting intense and complex wines and blends, well balanced with dense but smooth textural qualities has resulted in a distinctive portfolio of unusual and highly sought after wines.
